About Dulcimer Adventures
We’re three longtime friends — Robert Brereton, Stephen Seifert, and Thomasina Levy — who have spent decades performing, teaching, and laughing our way through the dulcimer world. We first met at festivals across the country and have shared countless stages, travels, and jam sessions ever since.
After years of teaching and performing from coast to coast, we decided to combine our love of music, travel, and community into something special — and so Dulcimer Adventures was born.
In recent years, our friendship circle has grown to include Christina Wong, a dear friend to each of us and now the organizational heart of Dulcimer Adventures. Christina manages the countless details that make these trips possible and ensures everything runs smoothly from planning to sail-away.
Together, we organized our most recent Dulcimer Cruise to Canada, and the energy, friendships, and music that filled those days reminded us just how magical this community can be.
Each adventure offers a mix of structured workshops, casual jams, and spontaneous fun — from late-night playing sessions to dancing, laughter, and even a lively cribbage night on the forward deck. Whether you’re new to the dulcimer or a seasoned player, you’ll find a warm welcome and a musical experience you’ll never forget.
With decades of teaching and performing experience between us, you’re in good hands. Every Dulcimer Adventure is carefully crafted to balance learning, connection, and pure enjoyment — a place where everyone belongs and every note matters.
Music. Adventure. Community.
That’s what brings us together — and what we’d love to share with you. Let’s explore together.
