About Dulcimer Adventures

We’re three longtime friends, Robert Brereton, Stephen Seifert, and Thomasina Levy, who have spent decades performing, teaching, and making music in the dulcimer community. We met at festivals and have shared stages, travels, and jam sessions ever since.

Dulcimer Adventures grew out of our wish to combine music, travel, and time with friends. Christina Wong keeps registration, communication, and trip details organized. Melinda Alcosser at With Heart Travel handles our cruise bookings and travel arrangements.

Our first two cruises took us from Boston to Quebec City in 2025 and from Vancouver to Alaska in 2026. Workshops were only part of those weeks. We played together, shared meals, explored new places, and got to know one another beyond the classroom.

Next, we sail roundtrip from Amsterdam aboard Holland America Line’s Zuiderdam, August 7–14, 2027, visiting Denmark and Germany. Our preliminary program includes eight workshop sessions, evening jams, a concert, and time together around the ship.

Players can choose from beginner, intermediate, and upper-level workshops. Companions are welcome at our group activities, jams, and concert. Whether you travel with a friend or arrive ready to meet new ones, we look forward to sharing the week with you.
