Cruise fares
Melinda at With Heart Travel will quote current cabin availability and pricing for the August 7–14, 2027 Europe cruise, roundtrip from Amsterdam on Holland America’s Zuiderdam.
Stateroom categories and group pricing
Prices are per person, based on double occupancy, and include government taxes and fees. The location of your cabin on the ship affects the price within each category.
Inside cabin: $1,424–$1,514
Oceanview stateroom: $1,574–$1,754
Balcony stateroom: $1,803–$2,134
Suite options are also available.
These are the September 2026 group rates. Melinda will confirm your current fare and booking terms, along with her planning fee of $100 per double-occupancy cabin or $75 for a single.
Dulcimer Adventures registration and tuition
Players: $499 total, consisting of $100 nonrefundable registration plus $399 tuition. We’re planning eight 75-minute mountain dulcimer workshops (10 hours), evening jams, our concert, and group activities. The full workshop and activity schedule is coming soon.
Companions: $100 nonrefundable registration. Join us for group activities, jams, and the concert. Mountain dulcimer workshops are for registered players.
Our registration and tuition fees cover the music and group activities. Cruise fare, travel, excursions, and optional cruise packages are paid separately.
You’ll also see your instructors over meals, around the ship, and sometimes in port. Those informal moments are part of the fun, in addition to the 10 workshop hours.
How to Join the 2027 Trip
1. Book your cruise with Melinda
Melinda Alcosser at With Heart Travel handles cabin reservations for our group. Reach her at melinda@withhearttravel.com or 310-903-5107.
2. Register for Europe Cruise 2027
After arranging your cruise with Melinda, use the $100 registration below to sign up as a player or companion. Please register one traveler per order so we have a separate record for each person.
Fill in the traveler’s name, email, phone, traveling companions, playing level, and emergency contact, even if someone else is paying. Companions can choose “not applicable” for playing level.
3. Add player tuition now or pay later
Players can add the $399 tuition to the same cart and pay the full $499 now, or pay registration now and tuition by June 1, 2027. Use the same player name and email on both forms. Companions only need the $100 registration.
Finish checkout and keep your confirmation email. If anything looks wrong, let us know and we’ll help.

This $100 nonrefundable registration signs up one player or companion with Dulcimer Adventures. Please arrange your cabin with Melinda at With Heart Travel before registering.

Companions pay no tuition and are welcome at group activities, jams, and the concert. Mountain dulcimer workshops are for registered players. Cruise and travel costs are separate.

Player tuition is $399, in addition to the $100 nonrefundable registration, for a $499 total. Companions do not pay tuition. Cruise and travel costs are separate.
Pay tuition with your registration now, or return to pay by June 1, 2027. Use the same player name and email as your registration. If you’re registering now, add the $100 registration to your cart too.
We’re planning eight 75-minute mountain dulcimer workshops for each player, with three choices per session, for 10 hours of instruction. Your registration also includes group jams, the concert, and activities. Workshop descriptions and the daily schedule are coming soon.
Tuition refund requests must reach dulcimeradventuresinfo@gmail.com by June 1, 2027, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern. We deduct 8% for processing. Tuition is nonrefundable from June 2 onward.

If your plans change
The $100 Dulcimer Adventures registration fee is nonrefundable.
You may request a tuition refund by emailing dulcimeradventuresinfo@gmail.com by June 1, 2027, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern. We deduct 8% for processing, so the refund on $399 tuition is $367.08. Tuition is nonrefundable from June 2 onward.
If you’d like someone else to take your place, please contact us to discuss your options. Any change to a cruise reservation must be arranged separately with Melinda.
If Dulcimer Adventures cancels the music program, we’ll refund all registration and tuition fees paid to us. Cruise and other travel purchases remain subject to their providers’ terms.
Cruise cancellation dates
The cruise has its own cancellation terms:
Before May 10, 2027: cruise fare is refunded, less the required per-person deposit.
May 10–16: the deposit is lost.
May 17–June 22: a 50% cruise-fare penalty applies.
June 23 onward: no cruise refund is available.
Melinda will confirm the current written terms, planning fees, and any package restrictions when you book. Contact her separately if you need to cancel your cruise.
Dates to keep handy • 2027
April 9: Our reserved block of cabins is released. Contact Melinda before then for the best choice; later availability isn’t guaranteed.
May 7: Final cruise payment is due to With Heart Travel. The cruise deposit is $350 per guest, nonrefundable, and due within three days of booking under the current group terms.
June 1: Final $399 player tuition is due to Dulcimer Adventures. It’s also the last day to request a tuition refund, less 8%, by 11:59 p.m. Eastern.
